GV comment: This is chock-full of many of the foods recommended by Dr. Michael Greger of Nutritionfacts.org. In his book "How Not to Die," he summarizes nutritional studies from peer-reviewed journals and other scientific sources and offers a description of the foods he believes are the most important for a healthy diet. In his discussion about breakfast, he describes a smoothie concoction but without exact amounts. I experimented with proportions and found that this smoothie is tasty and very filling as well as full of super-foods.
