GV Comments:  This is surprisingly tasty and satisfying, even the fat-free version. How can cabbage and potatoes taste so good? But they do. This got a thumbs-up from my omnivore husband and brother-in-law, my judges for whether a dish has the potential for pleasing people who expect meat at dinner. The answer is, with a fruit salad and maybe bread or a contrasting vegetable side dish (stewed tomatoes? Corn? Green beans?), this is a perfect centerpiece for a plant-based dinner (and it's super-cheap!). 

Timing: 30-60 minutes
