GV comments: I remember how disappointed I was to see that Nutella contained milk powder. Finally I noticed this recipe and had to try it. Yum. It has all the goodness of Nutella--in fact, it might be better because the taste of the roasted hazelnuts is so much fresher and authentic. This goes really well on French toast, regular toast, graham crackers, animal crackers...practically anything with a flat surface. It makes two cups, which is a lot if you don't have help.
