GV comments: This is a wholesome and very comforting soup with peanut butter, lentils, and yams (or sweet potatoes) blending together as they soften and cook. The cayenne pepper (decrease the amount if you like--I always do) adds just a bit of spice to prevent blandness. The kale, green onion, and chopped peanuts provide a textural contrast to the thick texture of the soup. Everyone I’ve served this to has fallen in love with it.
