Pasta e Ceci (Chickpea and Pasta Soup)

GV comments:  This is a delicious soup that’s easy and quick to make. It’s the best kind of traditional Italian comfort food--warm, creamy, and filling (all without cream or chees!). If you use whole wheat pasta, it’s all whole-food based; if you use wheat-free pasta, it’s gluten-free.

I prefer to chop the fresh rosemary (2 teaspoons) rather than add the sprig. This avoids long pieces of rosemary in the soup, which I don't care for. 

Timing: 30-60 minutes

Nutrition: Whole-food unprocessed
